Adult Wheel Throwing Ceramic Lessons

Discover the art of wheel throwing during these small group lessons. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this six-lesson course will guide you through the fundamentals of throwing, shaping, and glazing your own pottery.

Course Details:

Duration: 6 lessons, 2 hours each

Projects: Complete 4 unique ceramic pieces, including cups and bowls

Focus Areas: Learn the principles of ceramics, master the technique of wheel throwing, and explore methods for decorating and glazing your work.

Lesson Times: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm, or Fridays 9:30 - 11:30 am, Starting July 1

Final Pickup: Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup one week after the final lesson, once they have been fired and glazed.

Through personalized instruction, you'll gain confidence in working with the potter's wheel while learning the essential techniques for shaping functional pieces like cups and bowls. You’ll also explore creative surface decoration and glazing techniques to finish your pottery and make each piece uniquely yours.
