Refund policy

Every piece that leaves my Point Pleasant studio is handmade — thrown on the wheel or hand-built, glazed by me, fired in my kiln. No two are exactly the same. Because of that, I don't accept returns or exchanges. That's not a cop-out. That's just what handmade means.

But if something arrives broken or damaged? That's on me, not you.

Email hello@twinfishpottery.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a couple of photos of the damage. I'll get back to you fast. We’ll discuss a refund or a replacement — some one of a kind items are unable to be replaced and will be refunded.

If your package was marked delivered but never showed up: Check with your neighbors and your local post office first — packages sometimes take a detour. If it's genuinely lost, email me and we'll figure it out together.

What I can't cover:

  • Pieces that arrived safely but look a little different than the photos. Glazes shift in the kiln. Colors vary. Slight variations in shape are part of the deal with handmade pottery — and honestly, part of what makes it worth having.

  • Packages lost or delayed because of an incorrect shipping address. Please double-check yours before you hit “place order”.

  • Damage that happens after delivery.

Questions? hello@twinfishpottery.com. I'm a one-person studio and I actually read my email.

Workshop tickets are non-refundable.

I know life happens — but workshops have limited spots, supplies are ordered in advance, and a last-minute cancellation is hard to fill. Once you've booked, that seat is yours.

That said, your spot is transferable.

Can't make it? Send a friend. Just email me at hello@twinfishpottery.com at least 4 hours before the workshop with the name of the person taking your place and I'll swap the reservation. Easy.

A couple of other things worth knowing:

  • If I cancel a workshop for any reason, you'll get a full refund or credit toward a future date — your choice.

  • If you're running late, come anyway. We'll get you caught up.

  • No experience needed. Ever. That's not just something I say.
